Kenwyn Kindfuller received her undergraduate degree from Williams College and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. She practiced law at Davis, Polk & Wardwell and at the Department of Justice before choosing to focus full time on raising her family. She is married to Andrew Kindfuller and they have five children.
Andrew Kindfuller, Ph.D. is a business executive with over thirty five years of global CEO and executive management experience in the US and in over ninety-five countries. He has a Wharton MBA, a Georgetown JD, and a Ph.D. in International Business. He lives in Orlando, Florida where he is CEO of an industry leading provider of visual marketing, signage and mailbox solutions for Home Builders and Land Developers. Andy is married to Kenwyn Kindfuller and they have five grown children.
Christina Kind graduated from American University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1978. She has worked in various church ministries since then and is now an active member at Epiphany Fellowship in Philadelphia, where she serves on their children’s ministry team and with their prayer team. Chrissy serves on the board of Called to Serve, a community development corporation in the Tioga neighborhood of North Philadelphia. She also volunteers at Tanner Duckrey Public School in North Philadelphia.
Sharon G. Kind received her Masters in Education from the University of New York. Early in her career, she was the co-founder and co-director of Southeast Early Childhood Learning Center in Brewster, NY. In 2000, she co-founded Yoga Evolution, a yoga and qigong studio where she taught for eight years. Sharon is married to Ken Kind and together they have three grown sons. Sharon is happy to be working together with family members on the board of the Patricia Kind Family Foundation.
Kenneth A. Kind has served as a Trustee of the Patricia Kind Family Foundation since it’s inception. Mr. Kind is currently retired. He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1983, and after practicing law for a short time spent most of his professional life in sales and marketing primarily in the pharmaceutical advertising business. Prior to his legal and business career, Ken worked for the Big Brother/Big Sister Association both as a field social worker and then as Director of Recruitment and Public Relations.
Marc W. McKenna, MD is a family doctor and has been the director of the Chestnut Hill Family Medicine Residency Program for the past twenty-five years. He is a graduate of Georgetown School of Medicine. He has special interests in medical education, primary care sports medicine and community outreach. He is married to Laura and they have four children and nine grandchildren.
Andrew Kind-Rubin, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who has worked in the field of child and family mental health for over thirty-five years. For twenty-five years he was the Chief Clinical Officer and VP of Clinical Services at Child Guidance Resource Centers, a private, non-profit behavioral health setting for youth and families, offering services in Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. Dr. Kind-Rubin serves on the Youth and Family Training Institute Advisory Board and the State Leadership Management Team, among other boards.
Valerie Kind-Rubin got her degree at George Washington University in Elementary and Special Education. She began her career as a special education teacher working with students struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges. For twenty years she worked as a Parenting Consultant and Behavior Specialist. She left that in 2016 to give more of her time to the foundation where she is now the Managing Trustee. Valerie and her husband, Andy, have four grown children and live in Bucks County.
Laura Kind McKenna served as the Managing Trustee of the Foundation from the fall of 1998 until 2016. She continues to serve as a Trustee Emeritus. Laura is committed to the importance of Mission Related Investing for Foundations and through her leadership the Foundation became an early adopter of this approach. Currently almost 100% of the Foundation’s endowment is aligned with mission. Laura is a family nurse practitioner. Laura has volunteered weekly as a nurse practitioner at the House of Grace Catholic Worker Free Medical Clinic in Kensington for over twenty-five years.
