Historic Fair Hill believes in the transformative power of literacy and storytelling and integrates this mission into our other programs of community gardening and history education in Fairhill schools and neighborhood. Our literacy program partners with neighbors to create a literacy rich community. We want our kids to have the high quality reading materials they deserve and to see possibilities all around them. Our literacy partnerships include Home Libraries, School Libraries, History Field trips, Bilingual Classroom Literacy Assistants, and Volunteer Reading Buddies, all of which have continued during remote learning.
