In addition to continuing our primary focus of direct service general operational support to help communities struggling with the impacts of poverty, we are also supporting capacity and collaboration building efforts. Additionally, we are reaffirming our commitment to fund smaller Philadelphia organizations supporting historically marginalized communities with operating budgets less than $1 million (this does not include in-kind budgeted items). At this time, national organizations with larger budgets requesting funding for Philadelphia specific programs or chapters are not eligible.

The Patricia Kind Family Foundation only accepts applications, supporting documentation, and grant reports online. Most giving is in the range of $10,000 to $25,000/year for a three year period. We encourage organizations to apply for multi-year general operating support funds.

Excluded from the Foundation’s funding priorities are grants in direct support of individuals, i.e., scholarships or fellowships; endowments; and capital projects. The Foundation does not provide sponsorships for events.
